The app works by scraping facial data from Facebook, Venmo, Youtube, and other social media sites. Are we headed for a Cyberpunk-Esq society? How can we have a right to privacy in this type of future? When faced with an armed intruder or even a mass shooter we always say that we can use numbers to our advantage. A lone person bent on killing as many people as possible can’t possibly succeed if we all decide to fight and that is exactly how one family from Louisiana survived an armed home invasion. They decided they weren’t going to be victims and they fought back, took his gun and killed him.
