Monday is Memorial Day and what better way to honor our fallen soldiers than to share a speech of service, sacrifice, and God from a better man than us - Lt.Gen. (Ret.) W.G. Boykin. Boykin was one of the elite warriors chosen in 1978 to make up the first unit in America's ultra-secretive and deadly Delta Force. He then became commander of the unit, and later still, commander of all U.S. Army Special Forces. His thirty-six years in the military included a tour at the Central Intelligence Agency and clandestine missions around the world. Jerry retired in 2007, serving his last four years as the deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence. Enjoy!

Today on the Wasted Ammo Podcast we play the game Conflicted, a survival based card game that was designed to help you think about life in a post-apocalyptic world and his time, our wives join in on the conversation! Keep in mind that our wives do not carry the same mindset that we do so these cards are definitely eye opening and hopefully, it starts making them think, what if?

Today on the Wasted Ammo Podcast we Zero-In on the Springfield Armory and Rock River Arms Illinois FFL carve-out fiasco. Last week, the Illinois State Senate passed bill SB-1657 by a one-vote margin. While the bill will now move on to the House, if signed by Governor the new law will mandate state licensing for all Illinois gun dealers. The lobbyist for the Illinois Firearms Manufacturers Association (IFMA), Jay Keller, traded that group’s opposition to the bill in exchange for a carve-out, removing large firearm manufacturers from the licensing requirements. Now the question is, just how much did Springfield and Rock River know? Either way, this move was a huge FU to the 2A, the gun community, and liberty as a whole.  We shall see what happens next and if these companies can save face and regain the trust of gun owners as they move forward. Enjoy!
